How many people can I have at my event?

Please find below our maximum capacities:

Ground floor :
Standing : 80 guests
Seated diner : 48 guests
Theatre style : 50 guests

Lower ground floor:
Standing: 40 guests
Seated diner : 32 guests
Theatre style : 25 guests

Where is the nearest tube station to Icetank?

Icetank is well situated, with Holborn, Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road stations all 0.3 miles away.

Where can I park?

For unloading and loading into the venue, vehicles can stop on Grape Street directly outside of Icetank.

Unattended vehicles can be left at the NCP carpark on
2 New Museum Street, London WC1A 1JP, tel: 08706067050.

Facilities and Restrictions

Is there Wi-Fi available and what Internet speed?

Yes, Icetank offers complimentary Wi-Fi for all guests. Sign in details can be found at the venue.

Icetank is connected to the internet with two independent lines in case one connection fails, both with bandwidth of 80Mbps download and 20Mbps upload speed.

Does Icetank have air conditioning?

Yes, the space is fully air-conditioned.

Do you have any outdoor space?

Icetank does not have any outdoor space for hire.

Do you have disabled access?

Icetank’s entrance is at street level, however our toilets are located in the basement without lift access.

What restrictions are there to dressing the venue?

We are fairly flexible with attaching, sticking, hanging and adding vinyl – provided that the venue is left in its original state. Should you have any special requirements then please call the team to discuss.

Do you have any music restrictions within the venue?

As a courtesy to Icetank’s neighbours we request no loud music after 11pm.

Can we have any naked flames inside the building?

We allow tea lights and candles on site, but no fireworks or flame throwing inside or outside of the building.

What are your payment terms?

Once the Client has agreed to the Booking Hire Agreement a non-refundable 50% deposit of the fee and the applicable VAT is immediately due and payable.
The remaining balance of the fee is due 5 (five) weeks prior to the date of the Venue Hire Date and Time.
If a booking is made less than 5 (five) weeks prior to the Venue Hire Date and Time then the full fee will be due immediately upon booking. For further details please refer to section 4 and 8 of our T&C.

Can I supply my own alcohol?

Yes, you can, however we do not have a licence to operate a cash bar.

Access Times

What are your access times?

06:00 – 00:00.

Our venue has a curfew of 11:00 PM for loud music and for guests’ departure, and 00:00 AM for staff and suppliers to depart.
We provide on-the-door security to ensure compliance.

What happens if I go over my original hire times?

Additional hours are charged at £275 per hour but under no circumstances can your hire times exceed midnight or overrun if we have another booking.

Can I arrange to have anything delivered before my hire times?

We only allow for deliveries on the day of your event, providing Icetank does not have another booking during your delivery times. Parcels must also be a reasonable size. If you have deliveries in the lead up to your event that you are unable to oversee, then please call the team discuss the option of event coordination.

Can I store anything overnight in Icetank?

We like to do our best to help you, but this is dependent on bookings we have for the following day.

Can we set up the night before?

Providing we have availability you can set up the night before your event. Subject to confirmation. Charges may apply.

Services

Can we use our own suppliers?

Icetank recommend using Icetank’s preferred suppliers who are familiar with our Venue and its restrictions.

If the Client wishes to use a non-preferred supplier there will be an additional fee of £575 + VAT. A non-preferred supplier form must filled out and provided to Icetank with all relevant documentation prior to your event. For further details, please refer to section 6.6 of our T&C.

Do you have a marriage licence?

No, we are unable to hold any civil ceremonies at Icetank.

Who cleans up?

It is your responsibility to clear the venue and completely break down your event. The venue must be left in an acceptable state, empty and void of any rubbish. However, you do not need to clean the venue.

What happens to rubbish?

All rubbish must be placed in refuge sacks and then left in a designated area outside of the venue. You will be instructed as to where this is by the on-site manager.
